On 12th April, Dr.Johannes Slawing, vice manager of Wuppertal city accompanied with director of Economy Promotion Bureau and enterprises representatives as a delegation of 10 people visited KSGIP. Wuppertal is ranked No.17 in the industrial cities in Germany and is one of the oldest and most famous one.
Dr.Johannes Slawig and his delegation visited some representative German firms such as Voith Paper Kunshan plant, Green Business Incubator of KSGIP. At Green Business Incubator, Dr. Johannes Slawig had talks with Jin Min, vice mayor of Kunshan and Wang Jianhua, party secretary of Zhangpu town. The two sides introduced to each other their cities and major industries and exchanged their views on economic development, investment policy and “Dual System”. Both of two sides expressed a willingness to cooperate.
This meeting reinforced the mutual willingness of cooperation. Dr.Johannes Slawig said that as an old-line industrial city, Wuppertal focuses on auto industry which matches the industry structure of KSGIP. Therefore, two sides can strengthen economic and trade cooperation in this field.He also welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest and at the same time introduce German investors who have interest to invest in KSGIP.
