On the morning of 31st August, KSGIP took part in the German economic and trade communication and cooperation seminar for local provinces and cities organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Department of European Affairs. Zhong Shan, the vice minister of Ministry of Commerce, Zhou Xiao Yan, the director of Department of European Affairs, some major management leaders of Ministry of Commerce, Department of European Affairs ,Cooperation Department and Foreign Investment Division of Ministry of Commerce presented too, as well as the domestic German economic and trade cooperation cities like: KunShan , Tai Cang ,Shen Yang and so on. This seminar is mainly to reinforce important economic results of the fourth round of negotiations between China and German governments and practically drive the economic and trade cooperation between local provinces and cities and German, and establish a mutual communication platform for the local Sino-German cooperation zones.
During the meeting, KSGIP delivered a speech about development and future planning .KSGIP was established in 2005, with the core zone up to 8 square kilometers. Now there are 134 enterprises. The total annual sale is 15.2 billion Yuan. KSGIP currently has 107 European and US companies, including 7 top 500 companies such as VF corporation, Kellogg’s, General Mills, 55 of which are German companies : EISENMANN Group, Berger, and Ziegler, forming three pillar industries of precision machinery , high-end food and headquarters& trading . The Sino-Germany business cooperation is growing，and the exchanges and cooperation are more frequent. In the future, KSGIP will focus on three aspects: speeding up clustering high quality projects, improving park environment and strengthening the cooperation with Germany to raise the fame and influence of brand of KSGIP.
